The Basics...

So I just want to start off with some basics about me. You know let you guys in on what I live with. To start things off: I AM A 28F. Or there abouts. And yes TWENTY EIGHT. I don't want to brag and don't want to come off like I am. I'm just being honest. I'm 5'6" and about 122 pounds. So yes. The large boobs ARE random.
Next, I'd like to say that I have had breast reduction surgery. It was recently. About 5 weeks ago. It was on my larger breast to make them even. I will most likely discuss my surgery experience in a later post, but I will say it was a positive one.
Lastly, I was about a 28G about before my surgery. I'm hoping the swelling will go down a bit more and to go down a cup size. I don't want anyone to think I was tiny and got the surgery to be big. I have always had a large chest. It's rather a pain and the source of the blog. You probably figured that out with the word reduction, but i want to be as clear as possible.
So there you go, my basic appearance. I'm a pretty average girl (I will say I'm out of high school, so I'm going to refer to my self as girl because I'm not out of college.) Most of my friends don't realize how large my chest really is. It's just not that noticeable. But it certainly is to me.
To end things off just some stuff I think I will discuss later. First, obviously I'll discuss my issues buying bras. My frustration with Victoria's Secret, how bras for teens don't go above a C cup. Also, my new obsession with finding a good swimsuit. It's very hard and I'm convinced I can't go to regular stores. Also I'll discuss some bra brands that I've bought that I like. Also some websites and a store that I find useful. I also said early I would discuss my surgery, and the experience I had. Feel free to comment about your experience or ask questions or whatever. I'm here to share and see if I can find some people to confide in. There you go guys, until next time!

The Enemy...

Ok, so Victoria's Secret isn't the ENEMY. It's just irksome how they don't have any bras for me. Especially, considering their main product IS bras. I go in and look at their bras and think, "Oh, that's cute!...Too bad I'll never be able to wear it." I've seen and felt and looked at their wares. And they are one of the most well known bra makers in America for a reason. They have huge variety and fit most sizes. You can buy strapless, one strap, racer back, push up, or regular bras. Soft cup, molded, under wire. It's all there. Just not above a D cup.
The smallest band they have is a 32 which is still too large a band for me. Experts say that 90% of your support comes from the band. It need to fit right for the best support. Straight across your back. I've looked online and the largest cup they offer is a DD. However, my mom asked one of the workers once and the lady thought all they carried was A through D cups. It's very possible she was mistaken. But either way, with my F cup, I still can't shop there. It's frustrating for me to go to the mall and see it and go in with friends or who ever and know that I'm larger than everyone buying bras there.
I'm not bitter at anyone who shops there. I'm actually kind of jealous. They may not be the cheapest bras in the world but they are good quality and a lot of them are cute bras. I want to be able to wear cute bras. (I have found places to get them. But we'll talk about that later.) It's just the principle of the thing. Maybe some day they'll expand their stock to include more sizes. I will be a very happy shopper should that day come. But until then I'll just have to settle for their free underwear.
